Lori Fogarty, MSW, LICSW
Lori has been working in the human services ﬁeld for 20 years, with the last 13 years dedicated to providing mental health services to children, adolescents and their families who have challenging and often traumatic histories resulting in emotional and behavioral challenges. Lori has worked with clients facing a wide range of mental health issues such as behavioral disorders, PTSD, anxiety, depression, attachment difficulties, grief and loss and relationship difficulties. She joined the Counseling Center in 2015.
Grace Dole Dayian, MSW, LICSW
Grace has worked for many years with children and their families who have been touched by adoption and foster care. She has also worked in behavioral health care settings with young children and youth on anger management, grief and loss, anxiety, and trauma as well as with adults on issues related to relationships, anxiety, and depression. With a particular interest in mind-body wellness, she provides individual, family, and couples therapy. She joined the Counseling Center at JFSRI in 2012.
Jessa Fabiano, MSW, LICSW
Jessa has experience accompanying individuals and families on their journeys towards healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss. She has a great deal of experience working with parents on parenting skills and understanding the development of their children. Her practice is focused on mindfulness skills and helping clients identify and refocus cognitive distortions for optimal self growth and discovery. Jessa joined the counseling center at JFS in 2016.
Meghan Cavanaugh, MSW, LICSW, Clinical Director
Meghan primarily works with children, adolescents, and their families. She has experience in home-based and office-based settings, and provides both individual and family therapy. Meghan has experience treating a wide range of childhood and adolescent challenges, including crisis stabilization, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, trauma, and anxiety disorders. She has been with the Counseling Center at JFSRI since 2010.
Amy Small, MSW, LICSW
Amy has worked clinically in a variety of settings including residential treatment and community mental health. She has expertise working with you who have experienced significant trauma in their lives. As a martial artist and Zen practitioner , Amy utilizes mindfulness and movement in her work as a therapist. She joined the Counseling Center at JFSRI in 2013.
Greta Mittner, MSW, LICSW
Greta has experience treating children, adolescents and adults with mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and behavioral disorders. She has particular expertise working with clients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Greta has worked in hospital settings and is interested in helping people navigate major life changes, both expected and unexpected. She joined the Counseling Center at JFSRI in 2014.
Cary Donaldson, MSW, LICSW
Cary has worked with youth, adults and their families for over twenty years. She has long held a passion for spending time in community and home-based settings, and done so for most of her career. And she has always incorporated interdisciplinary, creative and expressive modalities into her practice as a social worker, educator and advocate. She has worked across the US, from Rhode Island to California and Louisiana to Michigan, and currently is exploring documentary photography and writing as a way to address trauma and loss. Cary joined JFS in 2016.
