If you can offer a few hours, Jewish Family Service has many volunteer opportunities available.

KOSHER MEALS ON WHEELS NEEDS DRIVERS
Drivers are needed in the Cranston/Warwick area to deliver hot, kosher meals to the homebound elderly through the Kosher Meals on Wheels program, administered by Jewish Family Service.
Volunteers can choose to deliver meals on a specific day of the week or several days, Monday through Friday. The commitment is only a few hours.

Substitute drivers are also needed to fill in occasionally for our regular volunteers.

JFS KOSHER MEALSITE IN CRANSTON NEEDS VOLUNTEERS TO HELP SERVE MEALS
Fridays are especially busy at the Mealsite, as Shabbat is celebrated. Volunteers are needed to help serve meals and to clean up. Help is needed Monday through Thursday as well.

LIFELINE/RI SEEKS PEOPLE FOR ROUTINE MACHINE MAINTENANCE
Volunteers are needed statewide to make routine battery changes, exchange help buttons and pick up machines from clients who no longer need them. Maintenance volunteers can complete the work on their own schedules during a given time period. Training is provided.

OFFICE AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
Occasionally we have office work and special projects that could use volunteer help.

Please contact us at 401.331.1244 for information about these volunteer opportunities and others.
