Adoption Options

Adoption Options is the nonprofit, nonsectarian adoption program of Jewish Family Service licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts with offices in Providence, Rhode Island and Rehoboth, Massachusetts. While adoption services have been offered by Jewish Family Service for many decades, JFS has significantly expanded the program over the last several years. In 2008, Adoption Options became Hague accredited, enabling JFS to provide international homestudies and post-placement services.

The professional staff at Adoption Options provides a full range of services to birth parents, adoptive parents, and children. They work with all members of the adoption triad is focused on helping individuals to understand their options and make the most informed choices for their future. The program provides education and resources for families to understand the differences between the many types of adoptions, from domestic to international. Services include supportive counseling throughout the adoption process as well as providing domestic and international home studies. Adoption Options places infants and coordinates services with other placement agencies, facilitators, and adoption attorneys.
